What Is Social Media Marketing?
Social media marketing is reaching out to and building relationships with your ideal customers on social media platforms. Social media increases brand awareness, promotes your products, builds your know, like and trust factor and is a fun way of engaging with your fans online.
Why should I be on social media?
Customers expect brands to be on social media these days. They often seek out social media pages before they buy, to check for reviews and recommendations. Having a strong social media presence is an essential piece of your marketing strategy. And it doesn’t have to be stressful and time consuming either.
What is the best social media platform to be on?
That is all down to where your ideal customers hang out. Have you ever thought deeply about who your ideal customer is? If not now is the time. This is something I will ask you to do if we work together. When you get to know your ideal customer, figuring out which social media platforms to use will be a doddle! And you don’t need to be on them all either! I recommend only sticking to 2-3 platforms.
How often should I post?
This really depends on your resources and your audience. You want to be posting quality content over quantity, so don’t compromise on this. Do remember to be consistent though. And if you struggle with time to come up with new ideas, repurpose old content and content that you have posted somewhere else.
How can I automate my social media?
I always recommend batch creating your content and scheduling. For my content and my clients content I use a scheduling tool called Smarter Queue, which allows you to set up categories of content, a posting schedule and you can even repurpose content from here too. You can get an extended free trial if you click on the link to Smarter Queue.
For Facebook I tend to stick to the native scheduling tool within the page. This is because Facebook will penilise content that is posted from a scheduling tool unfortunately.
How can you help me?
I can help you by assessing what you are currently doing on social media. I’ll then make recommendations on what you could do yourself, or you can outsource the work for me.
I can help with building your strategy, content planning and creation, scheduling and management of profiles.
